Eleos Music presents our 2024-25 academic year curriculum! With a core emphasis on fluency in the language of music, our students will study symphonic and choral repertoire by Brahms, Debussy, and de Falla. Enjoy our curriculum presentation video with your family below…

The Eleos Music Classical Young Artists Program is our in-school music program. Designed to seamlessly integrate into school structure and curriculum, CYAP nurtures a love of music and art for students of all ages from our Fundamentals Program to our Orchestral and Choral program.

As an academic, expressive, and performance discipline, the study of music develops the mental, emotional, and physical skills of each student, allowing them to interconnect the wonder of many disciplines combined in a single skill. Through the universal language of music in its many dialects (string, wind, brass, percussion, keyboard, and vocal), the study of this craft is rewarding beyond our imaginations.

Classical Young Artists Program – Fundamentals

CYAP Fundamentals is a class for all students designed to train fundamental fluency in the language of music through pitch and rhythm, fundamental vocal technique, and preliminary study of great classical works. Our Fundamentals Class is taught to the entire student body, introducing them to the language and gift of music.

Classical Young Artists Program – Orchestral Program

The CYAP Orchestral Program is designed to teach students the fundamentals of instrumental technique. From proper form, tone production, reading music, and playing in groups, students learn to excel at the instrument they love to play.

Instrumental Technique Class
Most students begin in our instrumental technique class. Students learn in small groups to command their instrument and read music. Students can study:

– High Strings (Violin)
– Low Strings (Cello)
– Woodwinds (Clarinet)
– Brass (Trumpet)

Camerata Orchestra
After graduating from our Instrumental Technique Class, students join the Camerata Orchestra. This group studies the great orchestral repertoire, made accessible for young children. Our Camerata Orchestras grow into full symphonic orchestras over time, with members going on to respected orchestral programs.
